In the morning, I had a meeting with the Chairman of the school, Mr. Sunil Bhalke and a member of the trust, Mr. Hanumantrao Mote. We discussed about the immediate needs of the school and identified that four activities were top priority. As we spoke and decided, I updated the Immediate Need page on the website.  We also agreed that the text books for the children were getting inordinately delayed.

Thus, in the afternoon me and Mr. Bhalke went to Budhwar Peth, Pune and purchased text books for 30 students. 15 of them are in Class I and the balance 15 in Class II. These are the students whose parents could not afford the text books and since the academic year had begun, had been studying without text books. The text books was completely sponsored by Ms. Zakirah Ataullah. She has pledged complete support for this activity. Some text books are still pending. I plan to buy them next week while I am in Pune.
